TinySpeak uses microphone and network access to provide transcription. On Android, the accessibility service is used only to help users with motor or dexterity impairments detect editable fields, show the voice input button, and insert user-dictated text into the field selected by the user.

Audio is processed only after you start recording

TinySpeak does not collect or transmit voice input before you begin a voice action.

Recordings are sent over HTTPS to the configured speech recognition endpoint.

The service is not used to read passwords, monitor unrelated activity, sell or share accessibility data, or automate unrelated actions.
